The third molars also known as wisdom teeth, erupt around 16 and 24 years; as they are located at the very back on each side of the jaws and the last to erupt, it is quite frequent that there is not enough space to fit on their position, that’s why it is very common a surgical procedure to remove one or more wisdom teeth.
